ABOUT LINDA

Although I’ve been earning a paycheck since I was 15, I didn’t understand how to speak up for a better work experience until my late-20’s. I stumbled and mumbled my way through, unclear about my purpose. A few years into my first professional position after college, I began thinking there must be a better way to run organizations - I was in a painful and challenging job situation. I went to graduate school to learn how to build better institutions and found my vocation: improving organizational strategies and structures while helping people gain skills that enable them to feel satisfied and successful with their work.

My 30-year career in leadership and organizational development provides me with deep understanding of individual and group dynamics – experience I draw on to support my clients’ success. I hold a B.A. in English, an M.Ed. in human resource development leadership, and a Ph.D. in adult and organizational learning, all from The University of Texas at Austin. Extensive training in communication, influence, and strategy equips me to guide client growth. I am a Certified Master Coach pursuing the Associate Certified Coach credential through the International Coaching Federation.

Career highlights include consulting with non-profit and state agencies, teaching at the university level, working as a mental health professional, conducting program evaluations, and leading large-scale change projects. No matter what the job title, I've dedicated my career to fostering effective strategies for learning, dialogue, and action.

I’ve led innumerable workshops and presentations, won writing awards, and published several academic articles. I’m known for my mentoring and my ability to listen deeply, ask insightful questions, facilitate difficult dialogues, and translate complex issues into easily understood, actionable information.
